StockPricepredictor.com, LLC launched a service providing online automated sale of patent portfolio valuations at the www.PatentValuePredictor.com web site. This service addresses the need to value portfolios of large numbers of patents without paying excessive costs for valuations of individual patents. The service provides a report specifying the calculated value of the entire portfolio but not the calculated value of each individual patent.
The automated patent portfolio valuation service allows users to specify a patent portfolio based upon one or more patent assignee names, a list of issued patent numbers, or a combination of both. The automated patent portfolio service then provides a portfolio valuation based upon the sum of the calculated values of all of the patent in the resulting portfolio. The portfolio valuation is emailed to the client's email address in response to the order placement.
In operation, the user specifies part of a patent assignee name. The system automatically returns a list of assignee names containing the input text. The user then selects which assignee names to include in the patent portfolio. The system then presents the resulting list of patents assigned to the selected assignee names at the time each patent was issued. On the same screen, the system allows the user to add or remove patents from the resulting list of patents, and then emails an Excel file containing the valuation to the user's email address. The Excel report specifies, for each patent included in the report, the patent number, title, date of issuance, calculated expiration date, maintenance fee status, relative patent number, and calculated total value of the portfolio.
The Automated Patent Valuation service and the Automated Published Patent Application Valuation service are also available at www.PatentValuePredictor.com. These automated services allow a user to select published patent application or issued patent, and then instantly obtain valuation reports per patent document. Each report provides the nominal size of the patent protected market or the patent application's provisionally protected market and a valuation of the patent or patent application. These services can be used to objectively and rapidly value individual patents and patent applications or corporate patent portfolios including large numbers of patent and patent applications.
The www.PatentValuePredictor.com site also provides valuations of unpublished patent applications and patent portfolios on demand, and it wholesales certain patent data and patent valuation related data.
