Saved Searches Dialog -- Basics

• the name of the search
• the command mode search statement
• a check box indicating whether the search is selected to be run automatically at scheduled intervals that you specify (or manually with all other selected searches using the Look command)

To manually run a single saved search, select it and use the Submit Query command.  As a short cut, you can both select a search and submit it in one step by double clicking it.

Notice the check boxes to the left of the names of the queries.   A check indicates that the saved search is selected to be run automatically at the intervals specified in the columns to the right of the Search Statement column.  (See the help topics on automating selected saved searches:
