Limitation of Hit Lists
The number of hits retrieved in a run of a query is limited to 50 hits in each database.
A query formulated by a user could be "loose" enough to actually hit on more than 50 patents or more than 50 published applications, but PatentWatcher™ will include only the first 50 patent hits and the first 50 published application hits returned by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office web server. This applies to hit lists returned by running a search formulated in Query-by-Form, a search re-run manually from the Saved Searches dialog, a search re-run using the Look command, and automated saved searches.
